Extensions add features, style packs re-skin everything. All you need is the MMO Run server download and a text editor.

Extensions

GDScript on the server, and optionally the client. Register commands, entity types, items, network messages and UI panels; listen to the game's events.

Style packs

Art, fonts and theme colors only, no code. Override as little as one color or the whole game, every extension included.

Content

Zones, items, quests, NPCs and Run Script are JSON and plain text. Extensions ship their own and register new kinds.

No source checkout

The shipped server loads your folder straight from a world, checks your content with --validate and builds the shareable file with --pack.

Players get it automatically

Joining a world downloads the packs it runs. Nobody installs anything to play on a modded world.

Safe by design

Every network message is checked against your schema before your code sees it, and extensions only reach each other through declared dependencies.
